Steve Landells was born on October 4, 1951. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. He was a teacher for 32 years in Stockport, teaching at what was Bredbury County Comprehensive School, which was later renamed Werneth School. He became Head of Technology, never losing the love for his subject. However his first priority was to support the youngsters in his care. Steve got married in 1990 to Jane and had a daughter Georgia. People will remember Steve for his unfailing cheerfulness, his kindness and his fantastic sense of humour. He could always put a smile on even the gloomiest faces! Many of his former pupils still describe Steve as a 'legend' and their favourite teacher. A very popular man, Steve holds a special place in many peoples' hearts and he will never be forgotten.
